In 2010, Kelly Benning founded Cold Frog Plumbing & Heating, building a reputation in Alberta for responsive service, high-quality installations, and long-term client relationships in both residential and light commercial markets. His technical expertise and entrepreneurial leadership established Cold Frog as a trusted name in mechanical services.

In 2020, Kelly Benning partnered with Garry Scheller to merge Cold Frog with Magic Mechanical, creating a unified company capable of delivering large-scale commercial, institutional, and industrial mechanical projects across Western Canada. Today, as President and Co-Owner, Kelly plays a central role in RFP preparation, client engagement, project planning, and operational execution. His proven expertise in navigating complex RFP (Request for Proposal) processes has helped Magic Mechanical consistently secure significant contracts by aligning technical solutions with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
